Newly Launched: Spot Devices!
We are excited to feature www.spotdevices.com, a newly re-vamped website! Spot Devices is a customer-focused, solutions-oriented technology company that provides effective, cost-efficient pedestrian and school zone safety solutions. Spot Devices commitment to pedestrian and school zone safety began in 2004 in San Jose, CA. One of the first to combine wireless, solar and LED technologies to create dynamic warning lights at crosswalks, Spot Devices quickly established itself as a leader in the industry.
Since its inception Spot Devices has developed and manufactured pedestrian and school zone safety equipment that pushed the envelope. By using wireless and solar technologies, products such as in-road warning lights, school zone flashing beacons and pedestrian-activated beacons could be installed easily and with less expense than ever before. The Company’s focus on innovative products has not changed. In recent years Spot Devices launched three new products: the Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (HAWK) System, the Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon System and the Time Clock Retrofit System. With compliance rates and dependability that exceed previous standards, these products demonstrate Spot Devices continued commitment to the customer and its core values. Read more here.
Some of the products they are famous for are:
- In-Road Warning Lights – The In-Road Warning Light (IRWL) Pedestrian Safety System remains dark until a pedestrian activates the system. Once the system is activated, the flashing lights embedded in the roadway provide a bright warning to motorists.
- Pedestrian-Activated Warning Beacon – Installed at mid-block crosswalks, the Pedestrian- Activated Warning Beacon System remains dark until a pedestrian presses a pushbutton to activate the system. When activated, round amber beacons flash brightly, warning motorists that pedestrians are crossing the roadway.
- Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (HAWK) System – Installed at mid-block crosswalks, the Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon System (PHB), formerly known as the HAWK, remains dark until a pedestrian presses a pushbutton to activate the system. When activated, the system flashes a sequence of amber warning beacons followed by red “stop” beacons, providing motorists with an unmistakable message to stop.
With their expertise and our design skills we were able to make a fantastic visual display of everything that makes Spot Devices an industry leading company. If you are in need of a great website to showcase your business, contact us!
